Had well-kept and well-equipped room with functional bathroom and a safe and a lounge area.

Enjoyed the room with comfortable bedding, my bed was exceptionally comfortable.

The breakfast was good for what was on offer, with wine, beverages plus all frozen food.

Fairly clean place and incredible location, appreciated extremely friendly staff. We had superior queen room, and it was well-appointed and beautiful historical with balconies overlooking the ramblas.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable - right next to the taxi rank and within walking distance to the thirties and the bower. The hotel is situated in a 1A location, making it convenient to explore the local area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a large bathroom that is well organized. The staff provides excellent service, offering maps and information about the surrounding attractions. The breakfast buffet has a wide selection, including cooked items that are served hot. The hotel also offers a delightful sitting area with a view of the bustling streets.

One downside is that the walls are a bit thin, making it possible to hear conversations from neighboring rooms.

The 24-hour buffet at Continental Palacete was a true highlight of my stay. The variety of food and drinks on offer, including tea, coffee, soft drinks, and even San Miguel and wine, made it a perfect place to relax and recharge. I especially enjoyed being able to make toast and help myself to cereal for breakfast. The staff were always on hand and very helpful, ensuring that the buffet was constantly refreshed and the environment was clean and safe. It was a great way to refuel after exploring Barcelona. The location of the hotel was also fantastic, with plenty of restaurants nearby and easy access to attractions. I will definitely be recommending Continental Palacete to others. it was a wonderful experience.

Location, services provided, comfort, staff, value

The hotel is located in the heart of Barcelona, near Placa Catalunya, and everything is relatively easy to get to from this location. The staff is multi-lingual and extremely helpful. The breakfast and the availability of the food buffet 24/7 was a great advantage; didn't have to search for breakfast places and the coffee [cafe con leche and expresso]machine was the greatest. We sat on our little interior balcony and had breakfast watching the action on the street, Ramblas de Catalunya. I would stay there again. The huge automatic 'shade' kept out light and most of the street noise.

The pink decor was a little over the top for me, but hey -it was a Barcelona experience!

We loved how comfortable and convenient this place was for our trip, being within walking distance to many local attractions including one that was just 15 minutes away on foot.
